About Us – Body Zen Massage & Health Sciences

We are the Original Body Zen. 13 years ago, Body Zen started as a side project, with the Body 体 and Zen 禅 kanji as Tai Zen; with the slogan, “your Body at Zen”.

Body Zen Massage & Health Sciences is currently starting up in south Tampa, Florida, by start-up CEO, Project Manager, LMT & former ACE Personal Trainer Daniel Lewis Dunn.

Body Zen primarily offers Deep Tissue Massage, which is also known and practiced the best as Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Russian Sports Massage, Balancing Relaxation Massage, Reflexology and Online Training Videos to aid with posture and essential knowledge regarding self care. We will soon be expanding to offer the products that we’ve planning for the last 8-10 years and starting the Podcast that’s been suggested I start by many clients for years now!

After I/Daniel graduated the Master Bodyworker Program in 2013, I aided the prestigious Eau Spa when they earned their Forbes 5 Star rating, before moving to Tampa to finish earning my Black belt in ninjutsu/To-Shin Do. I successfully earned my Black belt nearly two years later, and shortly after I started Royal Palm Massage & Bodywork that I operated for almost two years; before rebranding to Body Zen Massage & Health Sciences, to focus on the larger health sciences realm along with massage therapy. Just as Daniel (sole provider +🐾Bella) was reaching the 2 year mark being self employed (80% of small businesses fail within their first two years) with a literally brand new business plan, we faced the pandemic, the following economic crisis, loosing our marketing partner in ’24 without notice and enduring multiple hurricanes; which is why Body Zen is still a startup despite our expert planning to be a dominant ‘player’ in the health and wellness and massage markets.

We are starting with just one room at the current moment, though we have revised expert plans to rapidly expand and begin developing at an exponential rate into the next several decades. We also have what is currently a complimentary online video training library, that will soon expand into our own proprietary platform with many exciting products and features.

We will soon be hiring the most amazing secretaries and massage therapists around and I/Daniel will train them with all the best knowledge and skills possible to be the most amazing massage therapists available. Body Zen has historically had the highest ratings, and we will continue to set the highest quality standards going forward as we build the future.

And to show proof that I know what I’m talking about, here is a copy of my vocational college transcripts from the UCMT Master Bodyworker Program, that shows the UCMT Professional Program transfer credits as 815 and my total enrollment credits as 1,036 with a GPA of 4.00. The Professional Program is where I initially learned Movement Therapy with Structural Integration and a myriad of other modalities I’ll soon be showcasing here as well (not kidding, thousands of dollars of books and framed diplomas was destroyed in a flood, so I have to get more:)
